On Sunday, June 9th the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) will hold its annual Patient Education Day at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Canada. This event, which takes place during the SNMMI Annual Meeting, gives patients and caregivers the opportunity to spend a day learning about nuclear medicine, clinical trials, and disease-specific treatments from the foremost experts in this field.
Pheo Para Alliance is thrilled to announce that Miranda Edwards, known to many in the community by her online presence “Pheo vs Fabulous,” will be a guest speaker at the live event! Miranda will be one of two featured luncheon speakers, and will discuss the patient experience in nuclear medicine.
Patient Education Day is a hybrid event, with most portions of the day’s activities available to both in-person and virtual attendees. You can register to attend virtually or in person at the SNMMI website. Check-in begins at 9:30 AM ET on June 9th, and the day’s educational activities end with a breakout session on the diagnosis and treatment of neuroendocrine tumors that runs from 2:30 – 4:oo PM ET.
