The Pheo Para Alliance held its 6th Annual Awareness Week to raise awareness for pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma from August 25th-29th, 2025. This year’s theme was “One in a million, A million together” in order to highlight the strength and connection in our rare disease community, emphasizing how a diagnosis can feel like being “one in a million,” but as a community, we are “a million together.”
Objectives of Awareness Week:
1. Inspire & empower pheo para constituents to tell their story
2. Raise awareness of the illness among health care providers
3. Educate pheo para patients and caregivers on the illness
4. Build understanding amongst constituents of the struggles of pheo para patients
