U. of Colorado Receives Center of Excellence Designation

University of Colorado Designated as Research & Clinical Center of Excellence for Pheochromocytoma & Paraganglioma

Pheo Para Alliance (PPA) has designated University of Colorado as a Pheo Para Research & Clinical Center of Excellence. This designation is provided to centers which have a comprehensive research program and provide high-quality, multi-disciplinary care for pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma patients.

Linda Rose-Krasnor, Chair of the PPA Board of Directors states, “It is exciting to recognize University of Colorado’s comprehensive multi-disciplinary pheo and para team under the leadership of Dr. Lauren Fishbein.  Dr. Fishbein’s contributions in the areas of research, patient education and clinical care are extraordinary.  Sharing this center’s expertise with our patient population will undoubtedly provide patients in the region with the best possible health outcomes.”

This announcement brings the total list of designated Centers of Excellence to fifteen.  This is the fourth center recognized as a Research & Clinical Center of Excellence.
