Lauren Fishbein, MD, PhD, Chairs the Newly Formed Research Advisory Board

Pheo Para Alliance is proud to announce that Lauren Fishbein, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, has recently accepted the role of Chair of our Research Advisory Board.  The recently formed Board will focus on supporting, promoting and advancing global scientific discovery- and patient-centered research related to the diagnosis, treatment, and cure of pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma.  The Research Advisory Board provides recommendations to the Board of Directors on research activities, and works closely with our Medical Advisory Board.

The objectives of the group include identifying and prioritizing gaps in research, developing strategies to address gaps, initiating and collaborating on patient-centered research, disseminating emerging research findings to the patient community and more.

Linda Rose-Krasnor, Chair of the Board of Directors says, “Dr. Fishbein’s dedication to this rare disease is unwavering and she always ensures the patient voice is effectively represented.  PPA is excited to work with such a highly respected and innovative researcher/clinician to advance pheochromocytoma research.”
