NET Cancer Day 2022

join pheo para alliance in spreading awareness about nets!!

November 10th, 2022 is NET Cancer Day, an annual event held to increase awareness of neuroendocrine tumors ((NETs) like pheochromocytoma and paragnglioma and to amplify the voices of those in our community calling for improved diagnostics, treatments, information, care and research. This week, Pheo Para Alliance joins the more than 30 member organizations from around the world  that comprise the International Neuroendocrine Cancer Alliance (INCA) in a social media campaign focused on bringing attention to these uncommon tumors/cancers.

We’re asking the pheo para community to help us raise awareness by downloading and displaying the NET Cancer Day Ribbon, downloading the NET Cancer Day Toolki and other assets, and posting about your experiences using the hashtag #LetsTalkAboutNETs. Don’t forget to tag us, and use our #pheoparaphearless tag as well!

INCA is the global voice for patients with neuroendocrine cancer and genetic neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) and their caregivers. INCA envisions  a world where all patients with neuroendocrine cancer and genetic neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), get a timely diagnosis, optimal treatment, support and care and ultimately a cure. Their mission is to

  • raise awareness about all types of NETs;
  • push for scientific advancements with a focus on identified unmet needs;
  • and provide a platform for global collaboration to address the many challenges NET patients and the medical community face, in securing a timely diagnosis and accessing optimal treatment, support and care.
