Recruiting Zebras for our Zazzle

Did you know a herd of zebras is called a zazzle??  We invite you to join our Zazzle of Zebras to inspire our patient community at-large to donate before 12/31.

If your end of year giving plans include Pheo Para Alliance, we ask you to pledge early, so we may use your pledge for our Two Zebras for the Price of One Matching Gift Challenge.

Collectively, we will pool all pledges in the amount of $1,000+ received by 11/15.  These donors, known as our Zazzle of Zebras, will fuel our matching gift challenge.  Our goal is to raise $10,000 in pledges.  To date, we have secured $2,000.

The importance of end of year giving for our fiercely dedicated small, rare disease organization is significant.  Last year, 25% of all donations annually were received in November and December.

Fill out the pledge form below by November 15 or simply email stephanie@pheopara.org with the amount of your pledge and how you would like to be recognized.  If you prefer, your donation can be recognized in honor of your loved one.

P.S. For those of you who don’t know, the zebra is a symbol for rare disease.  In medical school, students are taught to think of horses and not zebras, encouraging students to think of the most common illnesses instead of more rare diagnoses.  Collectively, we use the zebra as a mascot to raise awareness of zebra illnesses, such as pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma!
