On September 13 at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor, the Pheo Para Alliance held its annual Gala, themed 1 in a Million, Celebrating a Million Together. This unforgettable night honored the extraordinary strength of those facing pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma—a rare and often misunderstood cancer that affects a little over 1 in a million—while celebrating the boundless compassion and unity of a community determined to create change.
Guests were welcomed with an elegant reception featuring breathtaking harbor views, followed by a luxurious multi-course dinner in a beautifully adorned ballroom. Kevin Nicholas, world-renowned mentalist, amazed and dazzled the crowd with an electrifying performance. A heartfelt highlight of the evening celebrated two distinguished honorees, Dr. Camilo Jimenez, and Giselle Huberman (in memoriam), whose unwavering dedication has brought light, hope, and progress to the pheo para community.
Thanks to Betsy Herold, every dollar raised supports our mission to provide help for today and hope for tomorrow for those affected by this rare cancer.
