Pheo Para Alliance has designated University and Politecnic Hospital La Fe in Valencia, Spain as a Pheo Para Clinical Center of Excellence. This is the first center recognized with this designation in Spain and third in Europe. The Center of Excellence Program recognizes institutions worldwide for providing cutting-edge, quality, multi-disciplinary care and participating in pheo and para and related research. The announcement of this center brings the total list of designated Centers of Excellence to thirteen, with more announcements coming soon.

University & Polytechnic Hospital La Fe is the Reference Center of Excellence for the Valencian Community. Inaugurated in 1968, it underwent a relocation and construction of a more modern building with the incorporation of the latest technologies in 2010. Hospital La Fe is among the 10 best health centers in the country and integrates regional and national reference units and units integrated in the European Reference Network. It includes La Fe Health Research Institute, accredited by the Carlos III Health Institute. Its technological endowment, professionals and research groups position it at the forefront of Medicine.
